On the other hand, there is one fashion-related school that has made a name for itself at this grand event. The Academy of Art University has made a huge imprint in the fashion industry. Many of the school’s fashion designers have gone on to successful careers in fashion design. This for-profit institute is located in the city of San Francisco. It also has close to a century’s worth of experience. Founded by Richard S. Stephens in 1929, the school has been able to thrive thanks to its brilliant talent-base. The Academy of Art University put on a show at the affluent New York Fashion Week in 2017. Ten of its BFA and MFA graduates got a chance to put together an extended collection for some of the new year’s hottest pieces of fashion. This was the school’s 21st appearance in total, and it will definitely make its 22nd appearance next year.
