Kisling, Nestico & Redick Provide Charitable Donations In the State of Ohio

Kisling, Nestico & Redick provides the people of Ohio with superb personal injury representation. They are headquartered in Akron, Ohio and have 10 other offices throughout the Buckeye state. Their offices are staffed by 37 well-educated lawyers and 130 support staff. KNR formed in 2005 with the goal of providing personal injury representation to regular people and protecting them from being taking advantage of by large corporations.

Aside from providing personal injury representation, Kisling, Nestico & Redick are active in philanthropic efforts throughout the state of Ohio. They have a program called the KNR Cares About Kids initiative which helps provide meals to starving kids in the state of Ohio. Through the program, they donated $1,200 worth of food to Greenbriar Middle School and raised $25,000 for the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank.

Back in February, several of the staff from Kisling, Nestico & Redick participated in Portage Lakes Polar Bear Club Polar Bear Jump. They took a plunge into frigid Ohio waters and helped raise $25,000 dollars for the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. 1 in 5 kids in the Akron-Canton region are considered starving and $1 dollar provides four meals. Thanks to KNR’s generous donation the food bank is able to provide 100,000 meals to starving children in the area. In total, the Portage Lakes Polar Bear club raised $150,000 for the food bank which provided 600,000 meals to children in the area.

During Spring Break, KNR donated $1,200 worth of nutritious food to Greenbriar Middle School in Parma, Ohio. Over 50% of Greenbriar students are on a reduced or free lunch meal plan. This means when students are off from school, providing lunch becomes an extra financial hardship for many families. KNR’s donation of mac and cheese, bread, peanut butter, and fruit helps relieve some of that hardship.

Kisling, Nestico & Redick will continue to help people both in and out of the courtroom. They are always looking for ways to make the world a better place.

Jeremy Goldstein Strives To Help Those With Mental Illness Reover

When some people think of lawyers, they don’t automatically think of all of the good things that many of them do for their community. While Jeremy Goldstein is committed to his position in the legal field, he is also a strong supporter of several philanthropical efforts. One of the organizations that he is focused on helping in several ways is the Fountain House which helps those that are dealing with a variety of different mental illnesses. There are around 450 million people who are thought to be afflicted with mental illness throughout the world and it is a problem that the World Health Organization believes needs to be addressed.

In May of 2018, Jeremy Goldstein took the time to host a fundraiser that featured a wine dinner in order to raise money for the Fountain house. The fundraiser not only helped to provide money for the organization, but it also helped to raise awareness for mental illness and the fact that they believe that many men and women have the ability to recover from the issues that are plaguing them. Along with wine, the dinner also featured a gourmet dinner and was attended by many philanthropists who wanted to be able to help those in need while enjoying a good night out.

The initiatives led by the Foutain House have been innovative and have made a difference in the lives of those who have used their services. Jeremy Goldstein took part in designing a program that helped members of the Fountain House learn different tasks such as communication skills, cooking, and growing plants. Through efforts like this, residents are able to learn how to live more independently while showing that they can have a positive impact on their communities which can improve their self-esteem while they are learning new skills.

Jeremy Goldstein Assists in the Fight Against Growing Crisis

Jeremy Goldstein, a partner at Jeremy L. Goldstein & Associates, as well as a member of the Board of Directors with Fountain House, recently hosted two exclusive wine dinners in New York City.

Joining Mr. Goldstein were Wine Dinner Chairs, Omar Khan and Jim Finkel, who collaborated in the effort to raise funds for Fountain House––a self-help program that focuses on assisting people throughout the process of recovering from significant mental disorders.

A number of high-profile guests attended the events, which, together, raised $56,000 in support of the cause. The initial wine dinner, held at the NoMad Hotel in May of 2018, raised $33,300, while the second dinner, a follow-up held due to the first dinner’s immense success, garnered $23,000.

Today, mental illness is considered to be one of the most significant crises of the age, affecting more than 450 million people around the world. Through the efforts of Fountain House, which has helped to combat mental illness since its inception in 1944, a new light has been shed on the crisis, leading many suffering from the condition, toward increasingly effective solutions.

Studies show that 85 percent of people afflicted with mental illness also struggle with steady employment, yet, through the Fountain House Employment initiative, 42 percent of participants have maintained employment throughout the New York City area.

Jeremy Goldstein, who holds a Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of Law, as well as Master’s degree from the University of Chicago, joined the Board of Directors at Fountain House in 2010. Prior to beginning his postgraduate studies, earned a Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.

Mr. Goldstein has played a major role in a number of the most significant corporate deals and mergers over the last decade and is considered one of the foremost executive compensation attorneys in the United States.

Relatively early in his career, Jeremy Goldstein took notice of a trend occurring throughout governance circles in which a multitude of executive compensation consulting firms began separating from larger entities due to discussions regarding proposed conflicts of interest; after analyzing the circumstances, he decided to found Jeremy L. Goldstein and Associates.

With over 20 years of experience under his belt, he is consistently able to bring ideas to life by relying on his acquired knowledge, as many of the issues faced in his daily routine, can be referenced back to a prior time.

Jeremy Goldstein has name added to prestigious list of lawyers

Anyone in the state of New York was looking for a lawyer can find one most effectively and easily through the Lawyer Referral and Information System, a system that has been created by the New York State Bar Association in order that New York state residents can quickly and easily find a lawyer appropriate for their case and location.

This is just the latest way that the New York State Bar Association has figured out to make New York one of the most legal-friendly states in the union.

Founded in 1886, the New York State Bar Association is the oldest bar association in the United States today. It has served as a model for bar associations throughout the United States.

It has also helped form the unique methods of law that are prevalent throughout the country today. Without the New York State Bar Association, the entire U.S. legal system would have looked dramatically different than it currently does.

And one of the state of New York’s most famous and well-regarded attorneys is Jeremy Goldstein. Goldstein worked for the world-renowned law firm Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen and Katz for more than 15 years. During that time, he was able to work on some of the most important mergers, acquisitions and corporate takeovers in the history of the United States. These include the Kmart acquisition of Sears Roebuck, the Verizon merger with Alltel and the Phillips Petroleum acquisition of Conoco.

This extensive experience of participating as a key figure in some of the most important business deals of the last 20 years has given Goldstein one of the most impressive credentials of any executive-compensation attorney currently practicing in the United States today.

However, even though Goldstein was making millions of dollars annually and was at the top of his career, he decided that he was no longer satisfied with doing big-money corporate work.

He felt that his skills would be better used by helping small business people to confront the perils that’s so often face those who operate on a shoestring budget that precludes hiring excellent legal counsel.

As a result, Goldstein founded his own firm, Jeremy L. Goldstein and Associates. One of the first steps the Goldstein took to promote his new firm was to add it to the Lawyer Referral and Information System.

By doing this, Goldstein has ensured that he is taking the right steps to make his new firm thrive, helping businesspeople across the state to navigate the perilous waters of executive compensation and other areas of business law.
