It is a company that was founded in 2011 by Julie Wainwright that sells many fashion items online and in stores, with one located in the big apple. Some of the items that they sell include jewelry items, clothing, and high-end purses. According to another article by Fortune, the company prides itself on selling authentic items that are not fake for a modest price. And anyone can choose to resell their items with the RealReal. Back to the article from Affiliate Dork, the article goes on to state that the company is changing the game by using social media and the internet to resell items. The rise in goods and especially when it comes to clothing in fashion have made the RealReal more popular as people can purchase material off their site for a cheaper price. Reselling items according to an assistant professor at the Brown School relates how making the items put a strain on the environment and workers in factories not getting good compensation for their labor. Allowing people to resell their items and have others purchase it makes fewer materials needed to be produced along with saving water as a caption in a photo in the article says that due to the RealReal that they have saved 1.3 billion glasses of water since the start of 2012. The RealReal sells some of the highest quality brands that include Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Rolex, and more. The brand has only continued to expand throughout the years with two stores located in New York City and Los Angeles with a thriving website behind it. The United States Money Reserve (USMR) internship program is in its third successful year. Applications are open and being accepted for the 2019 program!

Internships at USMR began February 2016 when Jim Warren (Vice President of Marketing and Communications) hired Mallory Burgess, his intern from a previous firm, to inaugurate a program. At that time, Warren was confident that Burgess was the right person for the job. He he stated, “Mallory is extremely driven, organized, and talented.“

Identifying good talent in Burgess has proven successful for both her and USMR as she has made advancements to her current role as Media Buyer. “It has been wonderful watching her grow in our industry and succeed in the fields of media and marketing,”Warren explains.

So, if this is your first internship experience, Burgess suggests that, “”Any students seeking a rewarding internship that will propel them in their career should look into our internship openings.” In fact, she further indicated, “The experience I’ve gained working alongside Jim and the USMR team has been a crash course in media and marketing and everything in between.”

A good characteristic to look for is the level of prestige it receives.

The U.S. Reserve was founded almost two decades ago. It holds world-wide recognition as one of the largest distributors of foreign government–issued gold, silver, and platinum precious metal products – serving more than 400,000 customers.

Meaningful internship programs include capacity building and the diversification of opportunities. USMR’s training has expanded to include six social media and radio/television/film (RTF) interns in the Austin, Texas offices. From her experience Taylor stated, “What I appreciate the most about the USMR internship program is the respect and responsibility given to interns..
