Jennifer Lee Walden was born in 1971 to a dentist father and a surgical nurse mother. She attended Texas Medical College to pursue a degree in Aesthetic Surgery and proceeded to work at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. Dr. Sherrell Aston, the chairman of Aesthetic Surgery Department, was Walden’s mentor. Later on, she left for NYC Upper East Side hospital where she worked for seven and a half years. While at NYC Upper Side East Side, Walden was an active participant in clinical trials. After giving birth to two children through in-vitro fertilization, Jennifer Walden returned to practice her profession near her hometown.
Return to Texas
After returning to Texas, Dr. Jennifer Walden established several medical-related businesses in Austin. Within a short period, Walden earned a reputation as an advanced and skilled medical practitioner. Walden’s operation theater is 15 feet away from her private office and accredited by AAAASF. Meanwhile, she has agreed with Westlake Medical Centre that patients can be admitted to her nursing theater during emergencies. Dr. Walden is an award-winning surgeon and a well-established author. Besides, she is the only woman serving on the board of directors of ASAPS.
Dr. Walden’s Family
Dr. Walden says that her mother is her role model. Dr. Walden admires her mother for bringing them up without a struggle while she finds it tiresome to manage her two sons. When speaking about her children, Dr. Walden warms up to their thoughts and expresses her joy about them. Dr. Walden admits that bringing them up was harder than performing surgery since parenthood and professionalism are two different entities. While you can make some assumptions as a professional, it is completely unpredictable when it comes to raising a child.
Dr. Walden takes pride in her family for being supportive and encouraging in her endeavors. Just recently, she has opened a satellite office in Marble Falls and works as a private practitioner at Westlake Hills. Dr. Walden is famous for featuring in several magazine’s articles and on the television.
